Since 2006, RockSerbia.net has been a home for regional rock news, reviews, interviews and concert coverage. We redesigned it from the ground up and rebuilt it on a custom WordPress architecture: faster, mobile-first and easy to run, without losing 18 years of archive or identity.
RockSerbia.net carries nearly two decades of archived content and a loyal readership. But the platform behind it had aged: slow, visually outdated and increasingly hard to maintain.
Pages loaded slowly, reading on mobile felt dated, and the editorial team was stuck with a manual, time-consuming publishing workflow.

What was broken
We audited the legacy site, its archive and the admin pain points, designed a mobile-first magazine UI, built a custom WordPress theme without page builders, and wrote the background scripts that now run much of the editorial work.
